Meet Dylan Balka

Dylan Balka is a NYC-based dance artist, choreographer, and teacher, currently working with Flair Entertainment, Pony Box Dance Theatre, Mignolo Dance, and other freelance projects. He also interned with Gibney as a Digital Media Initiative (DMI) Intern, where he executed videography for dance and operated an archival project for the organization. While at USC, Dylan produced the second annual Spring Showcase of the SC Choreographic Collective, and implemented a philanthropic initiative that raised over $2,000 for DRA. Currently, He serves as director of the Dylan Thomas Project under the nonprofit Misfit Angels Network, a program that provides financial support and mentorship to young artists that wish to pursue their artistic talents and passions. Dylan hopes to blend his passions for performance, collaborative creation, and activism into his artistic career.
